Almeria

Almeria enjoys excellent motorway links and the Almanzora Valley is one of the most accessible districts of the province of Almeria. The Almanzora region is easy to reach, thanks to three international airports and growing motorway networks.

The current journey time from Almeria International Airport is around fifty minutes by road. Other international airports are at Murcia - which is around an hour and half away and Alicante which is less than two hours by road.

Scheduled and charter flights from the UK and Eire take around two and a half hours.

Residents requiring medical care can use the facilities of a major regional hospital at Huercal Overa, and private clinics in Almeria. For winter sports enthusiasts, the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada (Granada) are only one hour and forty five minutes away by car.The province has a multitude of fabulous beaches spread all along the coast.
